Political Frame
Politics is the process of making realistic decisions and diverting funds to appropriate divisions. Politics exist within every organizations. Politics and power often are seen as going hand in hand together. When placed in the wrong hands however, politics in organizations can corrupt companies from the inside out. In the case analysis provided below, I have discussed how Southwest Airlines uses politics to recognize and navigate their ever changing environemnt.
Reflection
Politics is a messy area that all organizations must participate in. When leaders can successfully recognize and navigate their political environment using honesty and respect, it can benefit their organization. A large part of being successful in organizational politics is communication. Communication is key to finding compromise between two opposing parties. It is important that can see what their organizations needs, and use politics to ethically obtain it.
