Reflection
While taking classes for the Organizational Leadership program, I have learned much about the importance of social and cross cultural skills. It is important that leaders can interact with many diverse cultures. Not only interacting, but appreciating and respecting those cultures as well. All of these things will help leaders make meaningful connections and further business opportunities.
Growth and Development
While taking classes for the Organizational Leadership program, and taking Korean classes, I have realized the importance of cross cultural skills. There are so many diverse and different people and cultures in this world, and it is a great benefit if leaders can reach across cultural differences and connect with them. By taking the time to learn and understand Korean, I have come to appreciate the many differences I see in my own culture. I have made many friends, and met many great leadership figures on my journey. All of theses people have also been so accepting of my new understanding of their culture, and willing to learn about mine as well. This is the interactions future leaders should strive for.
